Use Google Talk In Dashboard With Amnesty Generator 1.1

Washington, DC – April 17, 2007 – Mesa Dynamics announced today the release of Amnesty Generator 1.1, an update to the free utility for Mac OS X that converts web widgets, games and videos into Dashboard widgets.

Amnesty Generator converts web widgets – designed to live on home pages, blogs and MySpace – directly into Dashboard widgets, allowing interactive web content to run natively in OS X without the need for a hosted page. Amnesty Generator also includes an "Autofill" feature allowing "paste and generate" creation of Dashboard widgets from over 30 web sites including Google Gadgets, YouTube, Revver and Photobucket.

Version 1.1 of Amnesty Generator introduces support for Google's new Google Talk gadget, a full-featured chat client designed to run on any web page. With Amnesty Generator 1.1, the Google Talk gadget can be converted easily to run inside of Dashboard, freeing the popular service from the web browser.

Amnesty Generator 1.1 also includes improved Autofill algorithms and now supports widgets from box.net, imeem, twango, YourMinis and WidgetBox.
