On this page you'll find a library of search engines for our free image searching application, Beholder™ Lite (if you're looking for search engines for Beholder™ then you're in the wrong place: close this page, launch Beholder and choose Check for New Plugins from the Beholder menu instead).

Click a Beholder Lite document icon in the table below to download a given search engine file to your computer. Then, launch Beholder Lite and do the following:


Adding a search engine

Choose Preferences from the Beholder Lite menu, select the Engines tab, click on the Import button and select a search engine file (for example, one that you've downloaded from the library below).

You can also drag and drop a search engine file onto the Beholder Lite application (or into the Engines list in Beholder Lite's Preferences window).


Open a new Search window to access the newly installed search engine.

Search engines and updates will be added to this page on a regular basis, so you may want to revisit from time to time. The library was last updated on September 19, 2006 with the update of the msn search engine to support msn live search. Please make sure you also download Beholder Lite 1.1.1, the latest version of the application.

Note: Because Google is now blocking third-party access to Google Images, the default image search engine has been switched to MSN. We are currently examing Google's changes and determining whether Google support can reactivated in a future version. Please download the msn engine to replace Google below.
